Mr. Johnny Bell, age 83, a resident of Pelahatchie passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest.  Visitation was held 5pm-8pm Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Graveside service was held 11am Monday, January 29, 2018 at Rehobeth Baptist Cemetery.  Bro. Tal Vardaman officiated the services.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Johnny was born in Scott County on April 27, 1934.  He enjoyed being outside working in his yard and growing a bountiful garden.  Johnny loved listening to country music and watching the Grand Ole Opry.  He was a very talented man when it came to wood working.  He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kay Walker Bell; parents, Lee Bell and Ruey Weems Bell; siblings, Pauline Bell, Ida Lou Thompson, Lela Gal King and James Lee Bell.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Bell of Pelahatchie; sister, Pansy Dipuma of Morton; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers were Daniel Walker, Shay Purcell, Scott Purcell, Robbie Jones, Rusty Cross and Dustin Dipuma.
