Johnny Elvin Donald, Sr., 65, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation is 5pm.-8pm. Thurs. and 10am.-11am. Fri. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Richland. Services are 11am. Fri. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial in the Richland City Cemetery.
Johnny recently retired for steel and iron ornamental fabrication. He also loved to do woodwork and travel. Johnny loved to be outdoors and enjoying nature and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Donald; children, Patricia Kyle, Eugena “Gena” Donald, Lynn Donald, Johnny “Bubba” Donald, Jr. and Chris Donald; sister, Mary Donald Murray; brother, DeWitt Donald, Sr. (Deborah Lynn); 5 grandchildren, Kim Donald, Lauran Young, Bobby Young, Crystal Young and Steven Taylor; 1 great grandson, Brantley Young. He was preceded in death by his parents, Uriah Burt and Melba Eugena Poole Donald.
