Johnny H. Hall, 75, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at his home. Visitation will be 5 - 8 pm Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Grace Primitive Baptist Church in Pearl, MS. Services will be 10:30 am Wednesday, at the church with visitation starting at 9am. There will be a 2 pm graveside service at Damascus Cemetery in Scott County.
Johnny was born in Lena, MS on January 11, 1948 to Willie D. Hall and Lossie Estelle Weaver Hall. He was a member of Grace Primitive Baptist Church. As a young man Johnny had a love for football and played for Carthage and East Central. He joined the National Guard and later became an electrician.
Johnny enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing and hunting squirrels and rabbits. He was very consistent and was a perfectionist, he just wanted things to be done right. He had a special love for his family, especially his grandchildren, he would always be the first person to like and share a post about his grandchildren. His grandson Jackson thought that he was a World Class Champion in eating ice cream.
Survivors include his loving wife, Rita Hall; children, Anthony (Julia) Hall, Adam (Cassie) Hall, step son Todd (Dana) Shearer, and step daughter, Kristi Robinson; grandchildren, Katelyn Jackson, Kameron Jackson, McKenzie Robinson, Brendan Shearer, Mattie Robinson, Jackson Hall, Slade Hall, Lillie Faye Hall, Gage Edwards, and Bella Randall; and great granddaughter, Ruby Claire Cook. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, J.W., Dorothy, Mary, Willie Jr., Frank, Pete, and Willie Mae.
