Johnny Ray Huff, 77 a resident of Polkville died Friday, August 13, 2010 at Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Mon. Aug. 16,2010 from the Polkville United Pentecostal Church with interment to follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5pm to 9pm Sunday at the Polkville Pentecostal Church.
Mr. Huff was a lifelong resident of the Polkville community near Morton. He had served in the United States Navy and later retired from the United States Dept. of Agriculture as an Inspector. He was a member of the Polkville United Pentecostal Church and was loved and respected by all who knew him.
He is survived by his son Chuckie Huff of Polkville, one brother Leslie Huff (Rose), four sisters
Nellie Ray McDonald. Dorothy Beatty (Vernon), Fleeta Phillips (Jimmy) all of Polkville and Annette Tadlock (Oscar) of Morton.
Mr. Huff leaves behind one grand-daughter Mandy Diane Huff, and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends.
Rev. Barron Price, Rev. Jeremy Price and Rev. Raymond O. Biard will officiate the services.
Pallbearers are Tim Huff, Lonnie Huff, Dr. Don Traxler, Eddie Arender, Billy Tadlock, Chester White, Mitchell White, Douglas Parkman
