Josephine H. Beacham, 92, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Brookdale Senior Living in Brandon, MS. Funeral services will be held 10 am Friday, January 27, 2017 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held from 9 am to 10 am at the funeral home and from 2 pm to 3 pm at Hartman-Sharky Funeral Home in McComb, MS with the interment in the Hollywood Cemetery in McComb, MS.
Mrs. Beacham was born in Warsaw, NC on October 12, 1924 to Joseph Elijah Hardison and Jennie Etta Grainger Hardison. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and she had an unforgettable personality and quick wit about her. She always made every holiday specialwith her wonderful cooking, baking and home making talents. When she was younger she was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, the McComb Garden Club and for many years she was a Pink Lady at Southwest Hospital. Survivors include her daughter, Bobbye Smith and her husband Jim; her grandson, Nick Smith; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar D. Beacham; daughter, Beverly Jo Beacham; brothers, Fred and Paul Hardison; sisters, Mary Coats and Virginia Bell.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be given in her memory to North Brandon Church of Christ or a charity of your choice.
