Joshua James Stodghill, 32, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.  There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 10am Friday, October 19, 2018, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with visitation starting at 9am.  There will be a second Memorial Service following at 2pm Friday at Oakdale Baptist Church in Brandon.

Josh graduated from Northwest Rankin High School in 2004, and achieved an Associate’s Degree from Hinds Community College.  He was an avid lover of books and video games, especially the Lord of the Rings and the Legend of Zelda.  Whether participating in missions to the Ukraine and Romania, or his work as a dispatcher with the Flowood Police Department, Josh made friends wherever he went and took great pride in helping others.  He will be incredibly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Paige Hester Stodghill; sons, Jonah James Stodghill and Brees Mackenzie Stodghill; parents David and Kay Stodghill; brother, Forrest David Stodghill; sister, April Stodghill Hartman; and grandmother, Eva Jenelle Stodghill.
