Joyce Miller

Joyce M. Miller, a resident of the Leesburg Community passed away on Monday August 5, 2019 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Ms. Visitation will be 5 PM-8 PM on Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS and 2 PM-2:45 PM on Thursday at Lake Harbor Baptist Church with the service following at 3 PM. Burial will follow at Lakeland Place Garden Park Cemetery.

Joyce was born in Crowville, LA on December 29, 1939, to the late Homer Prince and Ernie Beatrice Davis Prince. She was a member of Lake Harbor Baptist Church, where she loved everyone there.  She served in many capacities at church; she was on the nominating committee, Sunday School teacher and loved singing in the choir. Joyce enjoyed crocheting, reading and crafts.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Miller; children, Michael (Toni) Jones, Billy Jones; step-daughter, Tammy Withers; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of other family members and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Ernie B. Prince; daughter, Karen Renfrow; and brothers, James Prince and Doyle Prince.
