Funeral Services for Joyce Evelyn May, 72, of Brandon, MS will be held at 10:00a.m., Thursday, October 12, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Brandon, College Street Campus. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon, MS. Family and friends will serve as pall bearers. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 11, 2017, from 6-8pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Mrs. May entered the gates of Heaven on Monday, October 9, 2017, with her family gathered around her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert L. and Flossie Williams Hester; her brother, Elsworth Hester; and sister, Agnes Hester.
Survivors include her husband, Doris Lee (D.L.) May, Brandon, MS; daughters, Diana Britt, Starkville, MS and Jennifer Martin, Brandon, MS; grandchildren, Shelbie Britt and Baylee Britt, Starkville, MS and Sydnee Martin and Zachary Martin, Brandon, MS; brother, Daniel Hester (Ann), Mize, MS; and nephew, Karl Hester (Michelle), Brandon, MS; along with a very large and loving group of extended family and friends.
