J.T. Wilkerson, age 63, a resident of Pelahatchie died June 24, 2017 at the G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery V.A. Medical Center in Jackson following an extended illness.
Mr. Wilkerson was born on Thursday, February 4, 1954 in Forest, MS to his parents Fred Wilkerson and Lousindy Shaw Wilkerson. He was a Baptist. He was a longtime resident of Scott and Rankin County.
Survivors include his children; LaWanda Wilkerson, Elizabeth Cantrell, Amanda Wilkerson, Christy Jean Wilkerson, Christy Joe Wilkerson, Curtis Joe Wilkerson Andy Thomas Wilkerson and Justin Taylor Wilkerson. He is also survived by 2 sisters; Frankie Creel of Morton and Sue Suddeth of Forest. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
