Juanita Ann Greene Combs

Juanita Ann Greene Combs, 90, passed away on Fri. Jan. 12, 2024, at her home in Brandon, MS. Visitation was held on Mon. Jan. 15, 2024, from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Memorial Services are 1pm on Wed. Jan. 17, 2024, at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Brandon, MS.

Mrs. Combs was born on July 8, 1933, in Sedalia, MO to the late Sheldon Greene and Doras Thomas Greene. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Pisgah, MS and enjoyed reading, sports and singing. Mrs. Combs loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her 5 children, Lloyd Paxton, Terri Tarnecki (Henry), Kay Jackson, Lisa Myers and Neal Combs (Kate); sister, Karen Hicks; brother, Joe Greene; 8 grandchildren, Kelly Scarberry (Steven), Nick Paxton, Chris Jackson, Marcus Myers, Allison Combs, Anna Combs, Brook Paxton, Charlie Combs and 7 great grandchildren, Austin Paxton, Matt Scarberry, Emily Scarberry, Emma Myers, Annalise Myers, Brinley Paxton, and Jaxsyn McAlpine. Mrs. Combs is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Combs and 3 siblings, Deanna Hagan, James Armstrong, and Frances Huff.
