Juanita Fitzhugh, 69, a resident of Ludlow died Sunday, September 18, 2011 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral services were 2 pm Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at the Ludlow Baptist Church with burial in the Ludlow Cemetery. Visitation was held 5-9 pm Tuesday and 11 am-1:15 pm Wednesday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Rev. M.L. Wallace and Rev. Gary Lawson officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Fitzhugh was a native of Simpson County. She was the daughter of W. F. and Myrtle Shows Prince. She was married to Daniel Fitzhugh. She worked 20 years for American Apparel as a seamstress. Mrs. Fitzhugh loved the Lord and worshipped him as a member of the Ludlow Baptist Church. She loved animals of all kinds but especially horses. Mrs. Fitzhugh loved her family and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Fitzhugh was preceded in death by her parents, W.F. and Myrtle Shows Prince.
Mrs. Fitzhugh is survived by her husband, Daniel Fitzhugh of Ludlow; children, Tracy (Dot) Fitzhugh of Ludlow, Perry (Toni) Fitzhugh of Ludlow, and Leslie Fitzhugh of Ludlow; sister, Nan Haskin of Hattiesburg; brothers, Frank Prince of Martinsville, and Randy (Dianne) Prince of D’Lo; sister-in-law, Gerry (Wayne) Jordan of Lake; 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
