Mrs. Juanita Nowell Sinclair age 60 passed away on June 23, 2017 at the St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. There will be a Memorial Service held at Pelahatchie Baptist Church on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 10:00 am with visitation from 9:30 until 10:00 am on Friday, June 30, 2017. Interment will be at the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Newton at 1:00 pm Friday, June 30, 2017. Rev. Steve Mayes and Rev. Guy Hughes will be officiating the funeral service. Bro. Philip Alford and Judy Rhodes Davis will be in charge the music.
Juanita was born to her parents Thomas Howard and Myrtis Marie Pace Davidson in Jackson, MS on January 13, 1957 and lived in Morton, MS for approximately twenty-one years. After marrying George Sinclair she moved to Pelahatchie, MS for the last nine years. She was a member of the Pelahatchie Baptist Church where she helped with the WMU, Bible Drills, and taught Sunday School. Juanita loved to cook, work crossword puzzles (especially the Cryptograms). She loved her family and enjoyed taking care of them. She was a momma to everyone and never met a stranger.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Myrtis Davidson; her brother, Marvin Davidson; her infant sister, and her aunts, Benny Bolger, Pat Pulliam, Ruby Huffman, Floye Garner; her uncle, Odell Davidson.
She is survived by her husband, George W. Sinclair; her son, Jeremiah (Misty Norwood) Nowell of Monticello, MS; daughter, Tressie (John) Porch of Pelahatchie, MS; her brother Ralph Thomas Davidson; her grandchildren, Taylor Nowell, Trey Nowell, Marcus Cline, George Cline, Walter Cline, Hyacinth Sephton; her nephew, Brian Burton Davidson; her aunt, Dot Biggers; and her niece, Rhonda Marilyn Bradley; host of family and friends.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
