Juanita Pittman Smith, 88, a resident of Pearl, MS passed away on Friday September 2, 2016 in Brandon, MS. A service will be held at 10 am Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with interment in the Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 pm Tuesday, September 6, 2016 and from 9 am until 10 am Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at the funeral home. Fr. Anthony Quyet will officiate the services. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Smith and her parents, Elmer Pittman and Carmen Brown Pittman. She worked for Entergy over 40 years before retiring. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of the Cathedral of Saint Peter the Apostle in Jackson, MS. Mrs. Smith will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her cousin, Linda Bell of Rome, Georgia; several other family members and a host of friends.
