Judy Lynn Bolls took her Heavenly Flight the early morning of September 2nd, peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Judy was a native of Rankin County, the daughter of Ray and Myrtis Purvis growing up in Pearl, MS. She graduated from Pearl High School in 1966. She moved to Brandon, MS with her husband, Bill, where they raised their two girls. There she worked for the Rankin County School District for several years before moving to Pelham, AL. Judy returned to Brandon, MS with her husband in early 2000 and started working for the Rankin County Building Department where she retired from in 2016. Judy cherished her gardening and was a devoted member to her community. She was fond of all animals and enjoyed listening to music, especially Elvis's gospel songs. But most of all she loved and adored her family. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bill Bolls. Other survivors are her daughter Christina Smith (Darren) and grandchildren Jayme Smith, Connor Adams, and Alexandria Hitt, plus one great-grandson, Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her daughter Pam Adams, her parents, brother Scottie Purvis and Susan Wood (Stan). Services will be at Ott & Lee in Brandon, MS on Monday, September 9th. Visitation will be at 12pm with service following at 2pm. Interment will follow at Brandon Memorial Gardens. The family ask for anyone attending the services to please wear a flower or something floral for Judy's love of flowers and gardening
