Judy Steward

Judy Steward, age 83, died Wednesday, July 14, 2021at Lackey Memorial Hospital in Forest following a brief illness.

Graveside services were conducted at 1pm Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Merchants Cemetery.  Reverend Andy Boles officiated.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jimmy D. Steward, and her husband, Johnny Steward, Jr.

Judy was born in Longview, TX on March 20, 1938, to her parents Willis Lee Mobbs and Myra Eulyene Creel Mobbs.  She was a homemaker and a Baptist. .  Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and visiting friends. She loved her family and was blessed with 19 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Other survivors include her 5 children; Johnny Steward (Sarah), Jerry L. Steward (Juanita), Edwina Taylor (Jerry), Wanda Gilbert, and Winnie Bates (Jerry),  She also leaves behind 3 brothers; Gerald Mobbs, Ray Mobbs, Randy Mobbs, and 1 sister; Cynthia McCrary.

Judy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
