Judy Taylor

Mrs. Judy N. Taylor, age 76, a resident of Morton, passed away on July 30, 2021, at Scott Regional Hospital in Morton, MS. Mrs. Judy was born on March 19, 1945, to Roger and Nellie Mott in Murray, KY. Judy worked as a medical records clerk in various hospitals, but her family and her faith were very important to her. She took pride in being a wife, mother, and grandmother, and she loved sharing her faith with others. She enjoyed drawing and painting, shopping, and had begun writing a book of devotionals. Judy is preceded in death by her father and mother, Roger and Nellie Mott; brothers, Charles Kenneth Mott and Roger William Mott; and her husband, Johnny Taylor, Sr. Judy is survived by her three children, Johnny Taylor, Jr. (Rachel), Judy Lynn Felts (Steven), and Jennifer Taylor (Jeff Beasley); sister, Barbara Ann Colburn; and cousin, John Knochenmuss. She is also survived by her grandchildren, whom she loved greatly, Jonathan Hancock, Eli Taylor, Christian Taylor, and Gracie Taylor. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
