Judy Ruth Laird Warren, 68, passed away Friday Nov. 2, 2012 at the St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held Monday Nov. 5, 2012 from 6pm.-8pm. at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton, MS. A graveside service will be held at 2pm. on Tues. Nov. 6, 2012 at the Sims Cemetery in Morton, MS.
Judy was born June 24, 1944 in Scott County, MS and was recently living with her daughter, Gina in Brandon, MS. Her denomination was Baptist and she regularly attended and was a member of Pinelake Church in Brandon, MS. She loved genealogy, crafts, gardening, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Rose (Garner) Williamson and Gina Rena (Garner) Schneider and husband Mark Schneider all from Brandon; her only son, Stacy Garner and wife Jennifer Garner of Columbus, MS; she left behind her three grandchildren, Christopher Williamson, Joseph Williamson, and Ashley Rena Taylor and her husband Adam Estes Taylor. She is also survived by her sister, Wilda Laird of Brandon and her brother, Tony Laird of Reno, NV. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Peek Laird and Rosa Odessa Stuart Laird of Morton, MS.
