Justin Alexander Neese, age 27, and a resident of Raleigh, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019.
Justin will be remembered for his love of the game of baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves and in football, the MSU Bulldogs, respectively. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and an accomplished writer, having used his natural abilities in whittling and drawing.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother: Mrs. Debra Elaine Thomas.
Justin is survived by his son: Raylon Neese; his parents: Roy and Stacy Westbrook Neese, Jr.; his sister: Bethany Neese; his paternal grandfather: Roy Neese, Sr; his maternal grandparents: Charles and Frances “Bobo” Johnson; two special cousins: Chris Parkman and Sean Neese; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm, Sunday, September 1, 2019 from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Burns Community Church Cemetery under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Saturday, August 31, 2019 and from 12 Noon until 1:30 pm Sunday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
Bro, Robert Hallman will officiate the service.
Hunter Gainey, Tell Matuszewski, Chris Parkman, Dylan Westbrook, Dean Sullivan and Trey Keyes will serve as pallbearers.
Sean Neese, Toby Williamson, and Darren Massey will serve as honorary pallbearers.
