Sandhill
Buddy Kilpatrick, age 72, died on October 11, 2010 at his residence. Visitation was held 4-8pm Tuesday, Oct. 12th at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton and 11am-2pm on Wednesday. Funeral services were held 2pm Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in Blue Springs Cemetery in Chunky. Rev. Glenn Curtis officiated the services. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
He served in the Air Force from 1959-1962. He worked for Ms. Power & Light for 15 years and retired from City of Ridgeland in 1998. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Franklin Kilpatrick and Betty Coleen Price Kilpatrick.
Survived by his wife of 48 years, Jo Faye Kilpatrick; daughters, Vickie Broadway and Linda Johnson, both of Brandon and Rose Ellis of Sandhill; granddaughters, Kimberly Broadway, Brandi Johnson and Jessica Broadway of Brandon, Ashley Johnson of Crystal Springs and Rebecca Ellis of Sandhill; great grandsons, Heath Dodson of Brandon, Kolton Wadford and Dylan Johnson of Crystal Springs and another great grandchild due in April and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Dwight Johnson, Michael Dodson, Don Hall, Gary Charleston, Johnny Broadway and Tony Ellis.
