Kandy Marion Sanderson Mason, age 63, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday, April 9, 2021 at Brandon Baptist Church in Brandon, MS with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11-1 pm Friday at the church.

Mrs. Mason was born August 21, 1957 in Jackson, MS to Ted Sanderson and Mary Collum Sanderson. She was married to Clay Mason. Mrs. Mason was active in her church and volunteered many hours to the children's ministry. She always enjoyed helping others in any way she could. She loved being with her family and friends and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Mason was preceded in death by her parents, Ted Sanderson and Mary Collum Sanderson.

Mrs. Mason is survived by her husband of 30 years, Clay Mason; son chosen by love, Timothy Holifield; her siblings, Sandy (Mark) Swigonski, Ted (Sherry) Sanderson, Lynda Sanderson, Jean Sanderson, Joe (Heather) Sanderson and MM (Jason) Baumann; aunts, Jimmie Burnette, Bobbie Collum and Martha Prince; many nieces, nephews, cousin and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Brandon Baptist Children’s Ministry at 100 Brandon Baptist Drive, Brandon, MS 39042.
