Karuth "Kaye" Howell

Karuth (Kaye) Dale Moulder Howell, 79, of Pulaski, Mississippi passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024 at her home in Chelsea, Alabama. Services will be held graveside at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Mize, Mississippi on Thursday, May 16 at 11am.  The Bro. Doyle Boyles to officiate.  

She was preceded in death by her grandson Michael Eric Robbins and two brothers Larry Bevin Moulder and Kenneth Myron Moulder.

Kaye is survived by her loving husband of over 61 years, Hal Durwood Howell and her two daughters Karen Howell (Steven) Welch of Pulaski, Tennessee and Sharon Kaye (Eric) Robbins of Birmingham, Alabama. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Coty Asher Welch, Katherine Marie Welch Pfeiffer, and Matthew Thomas Robbins.  She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Asher, Leo, and Charlie. She is also survived by two brothers, David Burkett Moulder of Sandhill and Terry Randall Moulder of Starkville.  

Mrs. Howell was a devoted wife, loving mother, and an amazing grandmother.  She taught hundreds of children throughout her 30 years with the Hattiesburg Public Schools.  In later years, she turned her attention to research of her family genealogy.  She loved the Lord and was a member of Homewood Baptist Church.
