Kasey Gray, age 28, a resident of Morton passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at her home.  Visitation will be held 5-8pm Friday, March 3, 2023 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.  Chapel services will be held 2pm Saturday, March 4, 2023 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton.  Burial will be in Groveton Presbyterian Cemetery with Bro. Glenn Thompson officiating.  Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Kasey was born in Hinds County on May 19, 1994.  She was always a ray of sunshine, big in spirit and never met a stranger.  Kasey loved drawing, taking walks and especially fighting with her brother, William.  She liked to have fun, playing darts, shooting pool and could always be found dancing.  Kasey loved her coffee and making new friends.  To sum up her life, quoted by her Uncle Jeff, " Kasey was small in statue and big in spirit."  She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.  Her beautiful smile will never be forgotten.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Travis & Rena Runnels and William & Cindy Barrett.

She is survived by her parents, father, Robert Moses Gray (Kimberly) of Morton; mother, Tammy Runnels Gray of Morton; brother, William Henry Gray (Helen) of Morton; other siblings, Joshua Gray, Ariel Gray, Zoey Gray, Kaylee Harris, Cameron Harris and Caden Thompson; nephew, Luis Miguel Gray; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Justin Runnels, Tyler Runnels, Danny Rushing, Alex Thompson, Jonathon Thompson and Brock Watford.
