Graveside services will be conducted at 11:30am Saturday,
February 13, 2016 at Eastern Cemetery in Forest.
The family will receive friends from 10am to 11am at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest.
Bro. Lawrence Poole will officiate.
Kathryn Nell Berryhill Gordin was born 12/4/ 1930,
in Memphis, TN to Louise and Fred Berryhill. She had one brother,
Fred Berryhill, Jr. (Deceased) She graduated
from Central High School in Jackson, MS and attended
college at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.
Known to her Grandchildren as “KK”, she was an accomplished
seamstress and that talent led to the opening of a retail sewing
store known as Kat’s Alley in downtown Forest, MS. “KK” leaves
a legacy of many close friendships in the Forest, MS community and
a home full of wonderful framed needlework.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years George Clark Gordin, Sr.,
son, G. Clark Gordin, Jr.,(Beth) and daughter Connie Gordin Inabnet,
(Butch). Three grandchildren, Tyler Robinson, G.C. “Jake” Gordin ,III,
Brook Brown, two great-grandchildren and one first cousin
Judy Fryer Craig,(Charlie).
At the request of “KK” and the family please make a memorial donation
to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
