Kathryn Lee Shamburger

Kathryn Lee Shamburger, age 45, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024.

A Celebration of Kathryn’s Life will be Tuesday, February 20, 2023, at 1:00pm at Brandon First Methodist Church with visitation starting at 11:00am. Interment will follow in Old Brandon Cemetery.

She was born in Flowood, MS on July 12, 1978, to Sonny and Peggy Shamburger. Kathryn graduated from MSU with a degree in Interior Design and was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity. She loved cooking and rivalry with her siblings. Kathryn loved animals and leaves behind her fur baby “Madison” a Yorkshire Terrier.

Kathryn is survived by her parents, Sonny and Peggy Shamburger; brother Chris Shamburger; brother and sister-in-law Sandy and Stephanie Shamburger; niece Anna Claire Shamburger; nephews Charlie Shamburger, V, and Scott Shamburger; other relatives and many friends.

        Kathryn was very generous and thoughtful, bringing attention and help to those in need. She leaves a void that can never be filled and will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
