VISITATION: 5-8 PM FRIDAY AT OTT AND LEE IN BRANDON
Kathy Arnold, 57, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2014 after a brief illness with cancer at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation is 5-8 pm Friday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Services are 11 am Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the funeral home with burial in Brandon Memorial Gardens. Rev. Ricky Kennedy will officiate.
Kathy was a native and lifelong resident of Brandon and a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church. She was the daughter of Benjamin Fletcher Dixon, Willie Mae Ainsworth and A. A. Ainsworth. Kathy loved her family and was a Stay-at-home mom during the years she was raising her two sons. She then became a Dietary Manager at Methodist Rehab and later worked 14 years at Page and Jones Inc. She loved her work, but the true joy in her life were her grandchildren and her family.
Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years, Eddie Dean Arnold of Brandon; sons, Edward Dean Arnold (Joanna) of Brandon, Eric Daniel Arnold (Dana) of Brandon; grandchildren, Madison Grace Arnold, Hannah Elise Arnold, Eric Tyler Arnold and Evan Dean Arnold; sisters, Mary Ann Myers (Victor) of Brandon, Glenda Boyd of Brandon and Nancy Ann DePoyster (Ricky) of Brandon; brother, Johnnie Dixon (Wanda) of Petal.
