Mrs. Kathy Hamilton, age 54, a resident of Pelahatchie passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 in Pelahatchie. Visitation was held 2-8pm Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral service was held 11am Thursday, November 1, 2012 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in the Leesburg Church of Christ Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Hamilton officiated the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Kathy was born in Scott County in 1958. She was a very thoughtful person and always remembered every birthday that was important to her by always sending a birthday card. Helping others with their kids always put a smile on her face. Kathy loved her family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Ellis Coghlan; brother, Greg Coghlan and sister, Marilin Moore.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Hamilton of Pelahatchie; mother, Dorothy Stanley Coghlan of Pelahatchie; children, Kallie Hamilton of Oklahoma City, Ok and Gregory Hamilton of Pelahatchie; 3 brothers, Mike and wife Betty, James and Dale Coghlan all of Pelahatchie; granddaughter, Anna Belle Walbert; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers were Mitch Easterling, Rocky Easterling, Phil Easterling, Nathan Easterling, Bo Moore, Coleman Coghlan and David Hanisch.
