Kathy Nichols

Kathy Rush Nichols, 60, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020 following a lengthy illness. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon will be in charge of her funeral arrangements. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Kathy was born on July 13, 1959 in Jackson, Mississippi to J.C. and Kathryn Rush. She received a Registered Respiratory Degree from Hinds Community College and her Registered Nursing Degree from California School of Nursing. She served as a Respiratory Therapist for many years and as a Registered Nurse for thirty plus years. Kathy was married to Paul M. Nichols, who passed away in July, 2014. Kathy and Paul did not have any children. Kathy was a loving person and will be sorely missed.

Kathy is survived by her mother, Dr. Kathryn Rush, and two brothers, Carlton and Charles Rush all of whom live in Brandon, Mississippi. Kathy’s father, J.C. Rush, passed away in June, 2010.
