Funeral services for Kavanaugh “K.P.” Weaver were conducted Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Morton. Burial was in the Sims Cemetery under the direction of Ott &Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Visitation was held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mr. Weaver, a lifetime resident of Scott County, was born May 28, 1937 in Lena, Mississippi and passed away March 17, 2015 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian at the age of 77.
Mr. Weaver is preceded in death by his wife, Alice Lindsey Weaver; one son, Lindsey Canoy Weaver; one granddaughter, Allison Chesnut; parents, Clinton and Maude Pope Weaver; and his brothers: Dale, George, and Robert.
He is survived by his daughter, Carman Weaver, and grandson, Robert Lynn Chesnut, both of Morton; and one brother, Clarence Weaver of Lena.
Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
