Keith Grammer

Keith Dale Grammer, age 63, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away October 9, 2021, at Merit Health Madison in Canton, MS. Visitation will be held on 5-8 pm Wednesday, October 13, 2021, and 11 am-12 Noon Thursday at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Thursday, October 14, 2021, at the funeral home with interment at Lakewood South in Jackson, MS.

Mr. Grammer was born May 14, 1958, in Memphis, TN to Royce Grammer and Christine Oaks Grammer. He was married to Vicki Bridges Grammer. Mr. Grammer owned and operated Keith’s Lock and Key in Brandon, MS since 1988. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping and being in the great outdoors. He will be remembered as one with a magnetic personality who was a jokester that loved making people laugh. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with “HOG”. He loved his family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.

Mr. Grammer was preceded in death by his parents, Royce Grammer and Christine Oaks Grammer, and father-in-law, Duane Bridges.

Mr. Grammer is survived by his wife of 42 years, Vicki Darlene Bridges Grammer; sons, Jay (Dawn) Hughes and Bradley Keith (Tisha) Grammer; grandchildren, Kristen Hood, Brighton Grammer and Kaylee Hughes; sisters, Nina (Larry) Newcomb and Cindy (Christy) Holden; mother-in-law, Jackie Bridges; brother-in-law, David (Sue) Bridges; sister-in-law, Brenda (Bryan) Rutledge; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Baptist Children’s Village, Blair Batson Children’s Hospital or St. Jude.
