Judge Ken Warren passed away Wednesday February 28th ,2024 at Oschner's Hospital in Morton, Mississippi. 

Services: Visitation, Friday March 1st from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Ott and Lee funeral home in Brandon, Mississippi. 

Funeral: Visitation from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, March 2nd with the service following at 11:00 am. Rev. Mickey Ferguson will officiate.

Obituary:

Ken Warren was born March 28th, 1940 to the late Gird Norman Warren Sr. and Grace Miley Warren in Scott County Mississippi. Ken graduated from Brandon High School in 1959 and went on to attend Hinds Junior College. He served as a deputy sheriff under Jonathan Edwards and J.B Torrance. After being elected Rankin County District Four Justice Court Judge and serving for sixteen years, he opened a landfill in Fannin, MS and later  retired to Mountain View, Arkansas. 

Ken was a former member of First Baptist Church of Fannin where he was elected deacon and later became a member of Brandon Baptist Church. After moving to Arkansas, he served as a deacon at Foothills Baptist Church. He was a Master Mason, a member of Tyrian Lodge number 427, Order of the Eastern Star Brandon Chapter number 269, and Ruth Chapter 91 Batesville Arkansas. 

Ken is survived by: his wife of 64 years, Alice Gray McDowell Warren, daughters; Genie (Bob) Benton, Melanie (Grant) McIntyre and son; Dan (Ashley) Warren. Grandchildren; Beth Ann (Ty) Palmer, Hollis Gray (Guy) Sledge, Mary Jo Benton, Kenneth Luke ( Morgan) Warren, Maggie Warren, Cassie (Thad) Elmore, Ross McIntyre. 

Great Grandchildren: Benton Palmer, Anna Scott Warren, Wesley Gray Warren, Hudson Matthew Warren, Alice Elizabeth Elmore, Peyton Robert Eugene Elmore. 

Sister; Gwen Pratt of Katy, Texas, sister-in-law Betty Warren of Brandon and cousin Phillis Kennedy of Brandon. 

Ken is preceded in death by his parents, his son Ken Warren Jr., grandson Matthew Gray Warren, brothers Gird N Warren Sr., Joe Warren, brother-in-law Jim Pratt and sister-in-law Juanita Warren.

Judge Warren’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers: Ty Palmer, Guy Sledge, Walker McGuffee, Luke Warren, Ross McIntyre and Thad Elmore. 

Honorary pallbearers: Judge Richard Redfern, Sunny Burkett, Ken Steverson, Dale (Pickle) Stuart, Kirby Fortenberry and Tommy Long. 

Interment at Fannin Methodist Cemetery with Masonic Rights.
