Mr. Kenneth Jury Thomas, age 55, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. There was a Memorial Service at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 9, 2017 from the Jesus Name Church in Morton, MS. Kenneth was born in Washington, DC on March 26, 1961, to John Arnold and Homer Annette Hartley Thomas. Kenny was a member of the Jesus Name Church of Morton. He loved fishing, hunting, drinking coffee, he loved to talk and he was an easy going individual. He loved riding horses and the outdoors. Kenneth enjoyed playing cards, watching movies, and being a mechanic, and he loved racing, the Mississippi State Fair, and being around family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Arnold Thomas and his mother Homer Annette Hartley Thomas.
Kenneth is survived by his sisters, Cynthia (Paul-deceased) Vantine of Hamilton, NY, and Katherine (Johnny) Longenette of Tampa, FL; brothers, Charles Thomas of Martinsburg, WV and Clifford (Terry) Thomas of Laurel, MD; his special friends, Eddie (Charlene) Rigaud, and Bailey Rigaud.
Arrangements entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home of Morton.
