Kevin Colllier

Kevin Collier, born on September 18, 1966, in Jackson, Mississippi, passed away on February 23, 2025, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. He was a beloved husband, devoted son, cherished brother and much loved uncle who touched many lives with his work and kindness.

After completing his college education, Kevin began his career in the biomedical field at St. Dominic Hospital, where he met Angela, the love of his life through a mutual friend. Together, they built a beautiful life over their 31 years of marriage. Kevin later transitioned to ADT, where he dedicated 25 years to installing security and fire alarm systems. His passion for fixing things led him to follow his dream of becoming a handyman and jack of all trades, where he became known for his ability to repair almost anything. He also enjoyed doing dirt work and operating heavy equipment.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife Angela, his mother Glenda Ballard Collier, and his sister Phyllis Rynbrand. He adored his fur babies that he and Angela considered their children, including Abby, Kirby, Kasey, Rivers, and Rocky the flying squirrel, who was a special gift from Aunt Betty. He also had Shadow, Tabby, and Macey, who brought joy to his life and who will now be a wonderful comfort to Angela in his absence. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his father Wesley Collier and his brother Ricky Collier.

Kevin's life will be honored with a visitation on Friday, February 28, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, both held at The Church at Shiloh, located at 2394 Shiloh Road, Pelahatchie, MS. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. 

Kevin Collier will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy of love and hard work will live on in the hearts of many.
