Kim was surrounded by her husband and daughters as she left this world to be with our Heavenly Father on June 20, 2022. Kim graduated from Provine High School in 1974 and attended the MS University for Women studying Journalism. She retired from the MS Department of Employment Security after 38 years of service. She loved our Lord Jesus. Her goal in life was to share the gospel and lead others to Christ. She was devoted to her husband and high school sweetheart, David, for 45 years in marriage. She is survived by her husband, David Purvis and daughters Jera Hood (Bill) and Bridget Clark (Jeremy) along with four grandchildren (Dane and Eliza Hood and Seth and Elias Clark) she is also survived by her three brothers (Hooker Miller, Blake Miller, and Glen Miller) along with precious nieces and nephews who lovingly knew her as “Aunt Kimmie”. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Charles H. and Frances P. Miller, and brother, Clay Miller. A public visitation will be Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Ott and Lee Brandon. All other services wii be private family only.
