Larry Edward Myers, 72, of Willis, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Memorial Hermann Woodlands Hospital in Shenandoah, Texas. Family and Friends gathered on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Mississippi followed by a graveside service at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, Mississippi led by Reverend Floyd Steverson.
Larry Edward Myers was born on June 20, 1947 to the late Loyce and Winnie Myers in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Larry was a retired crane operator and an avid hunter and fisherman. Larry was widowed by the late Fran Hall Myers of Arlington, Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and grandpa. He is survived by his children Tammy Helton and son-in-law, Jay Helton of Alvin, Texas; Melanie Pierson and son-in-law, Brian Pierson of Richmond, Texas; Kevin Myers and daughter-in-law, Nacole Myers of Pearland, Texas and Shelby Myers of Willis, Texas. Larry also had two surviving sisters, Faye Myers of Pearl, Ms. and Janell Myers of Bentonia, Ms.; two beloved nieces Shelia Booker and Linda Twiner of Bentonia, Ms. along with many other nieces and nephews. Larry also had grandchildren, Hannah and Joseph Helton; Nicholas and Ashley Pierson; Hunter, Connor and Tyler Myers; great-grandchildren, Chase, Kylee and Justin Helton and Ryleigh and Reagan Dorsey.
