Larry Reynolds was born in the “land of opportunity”, his native Arkansas on September 29, 1939. He passed away at his residence in Pearl, Mississippi, on October 1, 2020 at the age of 81.
A former resident of Louisiana, and a resident of this area for almost 40 years, he was a retired federal bank examiner with Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. He was a Christian by testimony of his faith and was a member of First Baptist Church, Polkville, where he served as deacon. A favorite pass time was singing. Larry was honored to be the Master of Ceremonies for the Blue Grass Music Association and a veteran of the United States Army.
Larry enjoyed spending time with his family, and is survived by his wife: Wanda Bradshaw Reynolds; four children: Randi Bullock, Rochelle (Gene) Crager, Robin (Jason) Stanard, and Kelly Bradshaw; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers: Don Reynolds and Brice (Debbie) Reynolds; one brother-in-law: Graham (Glenda) Bradshaw; one sister-in-law: Sylvia Bradshaw; one aunt: Lucille Hobby and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Thurman and Troy Elliot Reynolds; one son-in-law: Al Bullock; one brother-in-law: Keith Bradshaw and one sister-in-law: Agnes Reynolds.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Polkville First Baptist Church, 6640 MS-13, Morton, MS 39117.
Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton assisted the Reynolds family in planning private family services.
