Laura Evans

Laura Jean Cooper Evans, age 64, a resident of Brandon, MS passed away January 27, 2022, at Merit Health Rankin in Brandon, MS. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Evans was born January 20, 1958, in Indianola, MS to the late Walter H. Cooper and Clarsie B. Nelms Cooper. She was married to the late James Kenneth Evans. Mrs. Evans worked as a Registered Nurse for many years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her sons, Michael Machost (Kendall) and Matthew Machost; stepchildren, Woody Evans (Aubrey) and April Ralston (Thomas) mother, Clarsie B. Nelms Cooper; sister, Rhonda Depoyster (Gary); four grandchildren; a niece and nephew and a host of friends.
