Mrs. Laura M. Palmer Hannah, age 95, a resident of Meridian passed away on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Queen City Nursing Home in Meridian. Visitation will held 11am-1pm Thursday at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral service will be 1pm Thursday at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Springfield Baptist Cemetery. Rev. Mary Wilson will officiate the service. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mrs. Hannah was born in Morton, MS in 1917. She loved listening to country music. Laura loved being outdoors working in her flowers and garden. She loved to embroidery and crochet. But most of all she loved her church and her Lord. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Julius Palmer and Minnie Stuart Palmer; brothers, Clifton, Buford, Rayford, Bobby and Marion Palmer.
She is survived by her son, Kelly Hannah and wife Bonnie of Meridian; 2 grandchildren, Jason Hannah of Meridian and Karen Hannah of CA; 2 great grandchildren, Finnigan Horan and Ethan Horan; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Service: Thursday 1pm at the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton.
