Mrs. Laura Turner O'cain, age 77, a resident of Carthage passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Leake. Visitation will be held 6-8pm Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Graveside services will be held 11am Monday, December 18, 2017 at Forest Grove Presbyterian Cemetery in Carthage. Bro. Gary Wyatt will officiate the services. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Laura was born in Forkville, MS on April 4, 1940. She and her husband, Henry loved to travel. To name a few places they enjoyed together were Alaska, Carribean, Europe, Bermuda and Paris, France. Laura loved working in her flowers in her yard. She loved her family and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Turner and Zula May Craig Turner; sister, Donnie Turner; half brother, Bob Turner and a half sister.
She is survived by her spouse of 60 years, Henry "H.O." O'cain of Carthage; 3 children, Brian Christopher O'cain of Carthage, Jennifer Lee Feraci (Tim) of Canton and Rachel Michelle O'cain of New Orleans; 3 grandchildren, Christina O'cain, Angela Feraci and Andrea Feraci and a host of friends.
