Lavell O. “Brad” Bradshaw Jr., 71, was called to Glory by his Lord and Savior while surrounded by his family on Sat. Feb. 22, 2025 at his home in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Feb. 27, 2025 from 5pm-7pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Fri. Feb. 28, 2025 at the Brandon Memorial Gardens Cemetery located at 328 Whitfield Rd. Brandon, MS 39042.
Mr. Bradshaw was born in Jackson, MS on April 18, 1953 to the late Lavell O. Bradshaw Sr. and Rachel Addkison Bradshaw. He graduated from Belhaven University and Mississippi State University. Mr. Bradshaw was a member of Lakeland Presbyterian Church in Flowood, MS and he also enjoyed cooking, fishing, playing racket ball, golf and spending time with his beloved dogs. Mr. Bradshaw was a loving family man and a great friend to many.
Mr. Bradshaw is also preceded in death by his sister, Becky Jane Bradshaw Rose. He is survived by his wife, Linda Fox Bradshaw; son Lavell O. “Bo” Bradshaw (Kathy); stepson, Gary Fox (Kellie); sister, Ann Bradshaw Huff (Jim); brothers in law, Robert Rose and Art Maurin (Cheryl); grandchildren, Benjamin Bradshaw, Barrett Bradshaw, Samantha Shoemaker (Shawn) and Sydney Fox; great grandchildren, Bailee Shoemaker, Nevaehly Shoemaker, Skylar Shoemaker, Josie Shoemaker, Jessie Shoemaker; several nieces, nephews and his two loving pet dogs, “Martha” and “Ruby”.
In lieu of flowers, memorials or donations may be made to Lakeland Presbyterian Church at 5212 Lakeland Dr. Flowood, MS 39232.
