Lawrence Boyer

Lawrence Edwin “Larry” Boyer, Jr., 65, a resident of Pelahatchie died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services were held 10 am Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in the Morton Memorial Gardens. Visitation was held 5-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Rev. Claude Shufelt officiated the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Boyer was a native of Circlevile, Ohio but lived most of his life in this area. He was the son of Lawernce Edwin Boyer, Sr. and Beatrice Sarah Dowden Boyer. He was married to Lynn Church Boyer. Mr. Boyer served 36 years as Chief Maintenance Technician for the Air National Guard. He was a member of the Line Creek Baptist Church in Pelahatchie. He loved his family and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Boyer was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Edwin Boyer, Sr. and Beatrice Sarah Dowden Boyer.
Mr. Boyer is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lynn Church Boyer; daughter, Ashley Boyer of Pelahatchie; sister, LyVonne (Terry) Mitchell of Brandon; nephews, Casey Cindy) Mitchell of Conway, AR and Travis (Katie) Mitchell of Lubbock, TX; and a host of friends.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Danny Husband, Kent Fulz, David Church, Robbin Church, David Bowman and Craig Pegram.
