Lenora Burrell

Lenora Burrell, age 67 and a resident of Forest died Thursday, May 25, 2023, following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4pm Sunday, May 28, 2023, from the chapel of the OTT & LEE Funeral Home in Forest.  Bro. Gary Morris will officiate.  Visitation will be held at 3pm till the service time. Graveside services will not be held, the family will remain to visit with friends.

She was born in Jackson, MS on March 31, 1956, to her parents Allen Boykin and Jerry Lester Boykin.  She was a Christian lady who loved the Lord, loved her family, and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Lou Ann Pinter, and a brother Kerry Boykin.

Survivors include her husband of 45 years,  Walter Burrell of Forest, 2 children, Misty Barringer (J.T.) of Brandon, John Burrell (Laramie) of Jackson, siblings, Ruby Massey of Forest, and Jimmy Boykin of Springfield, S.D.

She also leaves behind a legacy of 4 grandchildren: Peyton Burrell, Abram Barringer, Landrie Burrell, and Sawyer Burrell.

Pallbearers are Matthew Smith, Jonathan Moorehead, Kevin Williams, Stuart Wentworth, Jack Jackson, and Erik Case.
