LENA, MS

Mr. Leo Dudley Harrell, age 78, a resident of Lena passed away Monday, January 10, 2011 at the University Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation was held 5-8pm Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Funeral Services were held 1pm Thursday, January 13, 2011 from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton with burial in the Eureka Baptist Cemetery. Rev. Floyd Steverson officiated. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.

Dudley was born in Pelahatchie, MS in 1932. He loved to be in the serenity of nature deer hunting and he also loved to fish. He loved to watch his 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren play. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Monroe Harrell and Nonie Fitzhugh Harrell; sister, Gussie Faye Koebrugge and brother, Floyd Alton Harrell.

He is survived by his best friend, Gloria Jean Price Harrell of Lena; children, Donna Harris (Richard) of Brandon and Michael Harrell (Samantha) of Louisville; sister, Peggy Hawkins (Gary) of Lena; brother, Bobby Harrell (Beverly) of Lorman; 5 grandchildren, Kristopher Harris, Heather Knighton, William Harrell, Carlie Canales and Cynthia Hernandez; 6 great grandchildren, Katelyn Harris, Logan Harris, Kadee Knighton, Raiden Knighton, Sophia Hernandez and Aryhiana Hernandez and a host of friends.

Pallbearers were Rick Bennett, Brian Harrell, Andy Stewart, Mike Mako, Gary Hawkins, Phillip Webb, Jerry Cross and Mitch Shepherd.
