Leon Moore, 81, a resident of Forest died Friday, June 1, 2012 at Bethany House in Madden, MS. Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest with burial in the Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 pm Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the funeral home. Rev. Tony Henry and Rev. Don Cooks officiated the services. Services were entrusted to the care of Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Forest.
Mr. Moore was a native of Dossville, MS. He was the son of Dewey and Effie Atkinson Moore. He was
married Myrtle Moore. Mr. Moore was a member of the Steele Baptist Church. He worked with Tyson
and other affiliated companies of 45 years. He loved his family very much and spending time with them
brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Effie Atkinson Moore.
Mr. Moore is survived by his wife of 35 years, Myrtle Moore; children, Debbie Greer, Terry (Angie)Moore, Cindy (Tommy) Shields and Kristi (Chris) Johnston; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren many
nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
