Leona H. Kuykendall, 78, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. There will be no local services and interment will be held in Magnolia Cemetery in Greenville, Alabama at a later date. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon is handling local arrangements.
Mrs. Kuykendall was a native of Greenville, Alabama and a longtime resident of Rankin County. She was Baptist and retired as a driver for Mid South Auction.
Survivors include her children, Lewis R. Cannon, Jr. of Carthage, Larry Cannon of Brandon and Aleta Burch Morris of Brandon; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
