Lessie Lou Turner, 92, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Jaquith Nursing Home in Whitfield. A graveside service was held Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson. Rev. Johnny Ainsworth officiated.
Mrs Turner was a native of Natchez and a longtime resident of Rankin County. She was Baptist and was a retired LPN. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Turner.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Lacy of Florence, Mary Johnson of Richland and Betty Lepard of Richland; son, Clarence Edmond Turner of Richland; sister, Margie Ware of Pearl; brother, Ray Corbin of Jackson; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
