Lewis Farmer, age 85, a resident of Jackson, MS passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at the VA Nursing Home in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am Saturday at the Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with interment at 3:00 pm Saturday in the County Line Community Cemetery in Glen Allan, MS.
Mr. Farmer was a native of Glen Allan, MS. He was born December 4, 1935, to Charles E. Farmer and Sarah Bingham Farmer. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as well as the United States Army. He worked as a Machine Operator many years before retiring. He loved his family, and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Mr. Farmer was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Farmer and Sarah Bingham Farmer; brothers, James Farmer, Carl Farmer and Richard Farmer; sisters, Ruby Jackson and Verna Mae Farmer Wilson.
Mr. Farmer is survived by his brother, Jackie Farmer and his sister, Nancie Farmer Parker and brother-in-law, Billy Parker, several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
