Lexie Chism HarbourJackson, MSLexie Chism Harbour, 83, a retired school teacher, passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 at Compere’s Nursing Home in Jackson, MS. Visitation is Monday, December 27, 2010 from 5 – 7 pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon. Funeral Services are 11 am Tuesday, December 28, 2010 from the Chapel of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon with burial to follow at 3 pm in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Collinsville, MS. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon is in charge of arrangements.Ms Lexie was born on November 23, 1927 in Columbus Mississippi to the late Ernest Lee Chism and Dicie Richardson Chism. She taught school in the Jackson Public Schools for over 30 years. She was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church in Jackson. She was a longtime resident of the Jackson area.She was preceded in death by her husband, Hanson Ladell Harbour. Survivors include her daughter, Carol King of Brandon, MS; her sister, Mexie Chism of Columbus, MS; her brother, Ray Chism of Chattanooga, TN.; two grandchildren, Jason King and Sarah Beasley; and three great grandchildren, Graham King, Will Beasley, and Grace King.Memorials may be made to Zion Baptist Church, 1890 Zion Road, Collinsville, MS 39325.
