Lida Ann Roberts, a cherished wife, mother, sister, and friend, left us too soon on August 30, 2024, in her beloved hometown of Jackson, MS. Born on August 7, 1985, Lida illuminated the lives of everyone she encountered with her boundless warmth and infectious spirit.
Lida’s memories are woven with laughter and love, as she reveled in the simple joys of life. She had a particular fondness for the ocean, often retreating to the coast and Florida, where the sun kissed her face and the waves danced at her feet. Nature was her sanctuary, a place where she could reflect and recharge. Whether it was spending time outdoors or enjoying cozy movie nights with her family, Lida found happiness in the presence of her loved ones.
She is deeply mourned by her devoted husband, Michael Roberts, and her three precious daughters, Jessica, Jayla, and Amber, and her mother, Ruth Ann Streeval. Their lives are forever enriched by the love and laughter Lida brought into their family, and her spirit will continue to shine through them. Alongside her immediate family, Lida is survived by her brother, Ryan Streeval, and her brother, Shain Speights (Lindey), who shared countless moments of joy and reflection with her.
Lida was preceded in death by her father, Marvin Streeval, a loss that she carried with grace and resilience. Though her time with us was far too brief, the impact she made on those around her will resonate brightly in the hearts of her family and friends.
