Linda L. Craft, 73, a resident of Polkville died Monday, November 17, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton with burial in the Oak Grove Church of God Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 pm until 9 pm Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the funeral home. Rev. Zach Kilpatrick will officiate the services. Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Craft was a native of Smith County. She was the daughter of Legran “Doc” Driskill and Mildred Reeves Driskill. She was married to Robert Lee Craft. She worked many years for the Smith County School District as a school bus driver and also worked in the cafeteria. Mrs. Craft was a member of the Polkville Volunteer Fire Department for many years. She loved her family very much and spending time with them brought great joy to her life. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Mrs. Craft was preceded in death by her parents, Legran “Doc” Driskill and Mildred Reeves Driskill; grandson, Justin Craft and her daughter-in-law, Becki Craft.
Mrs. Craft is survived by her husband of 56 years, Robert Craft; children, David (Vickie) Craft, Paul (Lisa) Craft, Franklin Craft, Joey (Vicky) Craft and Grayson (Crystal) Craft; sisters, Viola “Bittie” (Charles) Whithead and Lavern (Bradford) Wallace; brothers, Bobby (Carolyn) Driskill and Gerald (Kay) Driskill; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Serving and honoring Mrs. Craft as pallbearers will be, Bradley Meadows, Robbie Anding, Quinn Wallace, Stephen Traxler, B.J. Wallace, Mark Driskill, Brian Driskill, Dale Craft and Dewayne Whitehead.
