Linda Marie Dellavalle, 70, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. Visitation is 2 – 3 pm Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Flowood, MS. Memorial Services will be held at 3 pm Wednesday at St. Paul Catholic Church. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon is in charge of arrangements.
Linda Marie Atkins was born on December 24, 1943 in Columbus, MS to the late Troy Harwood Atkins and the late Carl Dallas Groves Atkins. She received her B.S. Degree in Nursing from MSCW, now MUW in Columbus, MS. She served as youth advisor for Annunciation Catholic Church in Columbus, MS for fourteen years. She had been a resident of Brandon since 1994 and retired after fifteen years of Nursing at River Oaks Hospital. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Flowood, MS.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, William S. Dellavalle; two daughters, Michelle Anne Anding (David) of Brandon, MS and Kimberly Marie Turner (Kelly) of Jackson, MS; two granddaughters, Madison Marie Endsley and Samantha Anne Endsley; five grandsons, William Dellavalle Turner, Charles Thomas Turner, John Kelly Turner, Robert Henry Turner, and Michael Salvatore Turner; and two brothers, William Kirk Atkins of Jackson, MS and Charles Harwood Atkins of Rochester, N.Y.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Memphis, TN.
